The Miami-Dade Democratic Party plans on sending one-of-the-largest delegations to the 2017 Florida Democratic Party state convention. The convention brings together activists, operatives, candidates, and elected officials from across the state every two years to decide the future of our Democratic Party.
This year's convention will be held in Orlando at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort from Friday, October 27, 2017, through Sunday, October 29, 2017.
In order to attend this year's convention as a delegate for Miami-Dade County, you must complete the requisite delegate filing form and pay the non-refundable $60 registration fee. You must also be registered to vote as a Democrat within Miami-Dade County.
The deadline to register as a delegate and pay the registration fee is Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 11 pm. Delegates will be selected at the next Miami-Dade Democratic Party general meeting on Thursday, October 12th. You do not have to be in attendance at the meeting to elected a delegate.
